First Day Funk
Call me sentimental, but in less than a year, I will be graduating and venturing off to the “real world.” In less than a year, I will no longer use the word “student” as my profession.
Today officially marked the first day of my last year in college. Not bad, for a first day funk. :)
Ph104 with Sir Anton was AWESOME. It was my first class of the first day of my last year in college, and I’m really glad to know that I enjoyed every single minute of it. I think it also helped to see a lot of familiar faces in class (especially since I dragged some of my blockmates to enlist with me HAHAHAHA). I’m really looking forward to his classes, and I hope I don’t get disappointed as the semester progresses. My next class was Traditional Chinese Medicine with Dr. Navarro. It was very…interesting. There were definitely a few familiar faces, but they were all mere acquaintances from classes back in sophomore and junior year. Dr. Navarro seems like a funny guy. I think I will enjoy this class, too. I had a 4-hour-30-minute break before my next class, and spent a lot of time with Block GG (the AB Chinese Studies freshies) who hung out in MVP. I kid you not when I say that they fit perfectly in Celadon. HAHAHA :)) Th141 with Bobby Guev soon followed, and I couldn’t help but wonder whether it would be worth it to be in a Theology class with Filipino as the medium of instruction. I remember how much Thera, KJ, and I (yes, KJ’s my classmate in Theo! Yay!) were having bouts of “nosebleed” from too much Filipino during one of our activities in class. HAHAHA :)) Th141 was pretty fun and interesting. BobbyGuev had a lot of amusing anecdotes that kept the class entertained throughout the class period. Oddly enough, he strangely reminds me of American Idol Finalist Elliott Yamin. Is it just me or does he look like him? O_o
My first day of my last year in college was great, and I’m glad that everything just fell into place today. We’ll see what happens tomorrow (and my 5-hour-30-minute break haha).
I will definitely miss college :(
Panalo Quotes of the Day:
Sir Anton: “Don’t call me Mr. Sevilla. That’s my dad!”
BobbyGuev: “Let’s set the record straight—I am NOT a priest.”
