Screw La Salle. They’re just sore losers, that’s all. xD

Here’s a little-known fact on the Lago rule. During an ADMU-DLSU game (I think it was in the first round of 1991), the Lago brothers inadvertently spent around 10 secounds on the court together because of some confusion during a substitution. Elmer Lago eventually left the curt, LA Salle went on to win, and UE placed the game under protest (there was postseason implications).

La Salle argued that it was an honest mistake and that those 10 seconds did not affect the outcome of the game since it happened in the second (or was it third?) quarter. The Board sided with La Salle, voting 6-0. – Adrian

The minute my Hi166 exam ended at 3pm, people started leaving the school to watch the big game. I, on the other hand, spent my break before my Mkt101 class in MVP, filming the last few scenes of the CNP video for CNP Flock Night. CAN I JUST SAY THAT MY MANAGERS ARE SUCH GREAT ACTORS? <3 haha :)) Proud mommy shiznit. By the time it was 430, Ateneo was like a ghost town. People were either in the caf or in Araneta or, just like me, were loser enough to still attend class. lol xD During our Mkt101 class, Sir Osi even allowed us to use our cellphones—provided that we keep him posted on the scores.

Apart from winning the game versus DLSU, you know whatelse was the highlight of the day? Having our Marketing paper deadline moved—that’s what! Weee… THANK YOU, SIR! So yeah, over the weekend I can now rest a bit and channel all my efforts to our CS30 project.

Ateneans at the Gonzaga caf watching the game versus DLSU

Took this shot in the caf after Mkt101 class. I was hanging out with Retch and Raf then. Can I just say that people in the caf were super hyped up? If this were the scene here in AdMU, I could just imagine the crowd in Araneta going even wilder. lol :P

If there’s one thing that fascinates me about UAAP Basketball Season (especially during Ateneo-La Salle games), it’s that it somehow transforms us Ateneans into one BIG (and mean) cheering machine (lol).

It’s really remarkable to see that whether watching the game in Araneta or in the school caf/AVR, Atenean strangers become friends, quiet people suddenly become deranged human beings, and yes, the entire campus turns into a ghost town as people flock to Araneta to watch the big game.

I hope the Blue Eagles win this Season 70.

GO ‘TENEO, ONE BIG FIGHT!
