I just realized that I haven’t blogged in here for quite sometime, so I shall make up for it by posting this long blog entry:

Celadon Formsem was fun. Never did I expect it to turn out that way. We were really surprised to see the managers get along so well. Good job, CEBo! =P Thank you, my dear managers, for making it the best FormSem evah!

I spent the night before FormSem burning 50 CDs for the Manager Toolkit, and then I woke up early since the EB had to practice for our shameless presentation later that day (darn Bea for the script! xD). We had the usual talks, GD’s, etc during Day One. EB presentation was first (Mang Tedong!). And yeah, thanks to Bea, people now think I’m caught in this so-called Comm&Pub love triangle with my AVP and my manager. xD Dept presentation rocked. Thanks Vinny for leading the group (I know you were reluctant to do it, but thanks anyway haha). Bonded some more with the managers (Yo Angelo! haha) and of course, received a few gossips from here and there (and yes, this included the processing/sharing session). =P Did you know that a certain Comm&Pub manager of mine happens to be one of the heartthrobs of the FormSem? Well, come to think of it, he is kinda cute. Lucky for me, eh? haha kidding.

Day Two had a lot more surprises in store. I woke up at 5:13am (courtesy of my dear sister), and around 6am, Kenelynn and I went room-to-room to give them their wake up call/knock (“knock filled with conviction” daw sabi ni Niko). Everyone was still sleepy, but the show had to go on.  Raf (ICR Sec-Treas) and I were in our respective stations for the Heroes Hunt Amazing Race when we saw this pale, lifeless-looking guy being carried by a few men. Raf asked one of the guy’s companions what happened. The guy said that their friend was swimming in the pool when a guy used the slide, slid, and accidentally hit him on the head, knocking him out unconscious in the process. The one who caused the victim’s curent state just laughed it off with some friends and didn’t bother helping the guy. We seriously thought the guy was dead and had drowned in the pool! :o Scary. The amusing part there though was that the companion who told Raf the story actually thought that Raf was the owner of Villa Lorenza! hahaha =P Congrats to Carl‘s team for winning the race, and to my sister, Alvin, Jasper, Garret, and Honey’s team for doing a mean Sudoku the quickest!

We soon left Villa Lorenza in a convoy, following Kenelynn‘s car. Alvin, James Yu, Jasper, Za, Che, and Jenny were our new companions in Carl‘s car. At that time, I was really tired because of the FormSem and envious of the people sleeping at the back of the car, but Carl was telling me not to fall asleep and talk to him instead because he might fall asleep while driving. And so I stayed awake, chatting with him. We finally entered the town of Teresa (or was that Morong?), busy chatting away (who knew Carl had an awesome sense of humor? =)) ) when we finally realized that Ken’s car was nowhere in sight and we were lost, misleading Ted’s car and the rest trailing behind us. Carl and I were like, “Oh no…” Either Ken’s car was too fast; the tricycle drivers were just taking up the roadspace; or we were so engrossed with our chat that we failed to realize that the car before us was no longer there. I called up Ken to tell her that we were lost.

Carl: Hala, AL, paano na toh?
AL: Ehrm, follow you driver instincts?
Carl: Hala, patay. Wala ako niyan. Wala akong sense of direction eh. Just yesterday I even had to ask Nina where the cottages were! xD
AL: Ehrm, okay. Just follow the road. One straight line lang naman ata yung road eh.

And so we went until the end of the road, expecting to come out to the main road when we suddenly realized that we had come across a dead end, with an only option to either turn left or right. We turned right. Thanks to Carl’s driver’s instincts, we finally found the main road and the rest of the convoy waiting near a suman vendor stall. I love my carpool-mates. Jems gave me a suman, Vinny gave me cashew nuts, Jasper gave me V-cut, and Carl bought me a bottle of cold water and told me not to pay for it anymore. MIS boys are love ♥ hihihi (looking back, parang ang kapal ng mukha ko. hahahaha pero might as well take advantage of the situation kasi hindi pa ako naglulunch nun at gutom na gutom na ako nun)

So much for an adventure! And it all happened in less than half a day. Makes me wonder what would’ve happened to us if we couldn’t find our way out of Teresa, Rizal.=P Yay Carl! Dapat nag-CNP ka nalang. hihihi kidding. Anyhoo, I reached home, dead tired. I unpacked my stuff., fell asleep, and did my stat paper (in a confizzled state when I did that). Boo.

Damn RSF for being closed today. Tuloy, we had to go to UP to bind and finish our final stat project paper. Boo. Anyhoo, it was my first time to actually enter the heart of UP. Quite an adventure, if you asked me! lol :P Thanks, Gen, for the lift back! ^ ^ And thanks to Wes and RJ for all the help. =P

IT’S FINALLY OVER—for ACADS, that is.
