The 300 Fangirl Cometh.
WARNING: EYE CANDY STRAIGHT AHEAD
I FINALLY got a chance to watch 300 on the big screen * rejoices at the thought of no longer being a loser * since my family decided to watch it on theater today. How could I possibly pass up that opportunity to watch one of my most anticipated films of the year? Kudos to Zack Snyder for a job well done in directing this awesome film. I was totally gripping at the edge of my seat throughout the entire movie. haha Oh, and yeah. I am officially a fan girl of the hottest Spartan ever —- Astinos (played by Tom Wisdom, who makes an acting debut on the big screen). Reminds me of those Legolas fangirl days. haha
The role of Astinos marks Wisdom’s feature film debut, a detail that might have played in his favor. “I suppose one reason I was cast is because I share similar characteristics with Astinos, who is a novice in battle,” he says.
Storyline-wise, there wasn’t really much going on (historical facts didn’t really matter for them, I guess) —but the awesome cinematography, action-sequences, and visual effects SOOOO made up for it. To be honest, I really didn’t care much about the storyline while watching the film. My attention was focused on the spiffy effects. xD A movie with a thin storyline, but nevertheless enjoyable.
P.S. Is it just me or did the guy on the left side of Dilios (played by David Wenham of Faramir fame) during the last fight scene resemble Astinos? Just a thought. haha

Hello there! I’m so glad that I was able to find a fansite for Tom, information about him is so limited thus most of the time I get frustrated when I do searches (in beteween work breaks BTW!) on the net. But, one thing’s for sure… I’ll never get tired of looking at those Abs that’s definitely “to die for”! Keep it up! =)
